Katz & Associates is pleased to announce that it represented JM Properties, LLC in a lease with Karma of Broward, Inc. for a new 4,683 SF Karma Automotive Car Dealership in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Katz advisors Daniel Solomon, CCIM, and Eric Spritz represented the Landlord JM Properties, LLC (Jonas Nordal and Mark Sager) to help bring this American luxury electric car automaker to Fort Lauderdale. Katz & Associates is pleased to announce that it has been retained by Rieber Developments to lease the retail assets at 12|12 Aventura, the new, premier mixed-use project in Aventura, FL. Katz advisors Nicole Fontaine and Karen Maerovitz are the exclusive agents to secure tenants for the 26,000 SF gourmet dining and shopping Marketplace, as well as a 7,500 SF anchor restaurant fronting Biscayne Blvd. Located one mile from Aventura Mall, the high-end project, centrally located in the heart of the Aventura Health District, will be a 10-story complex consisting of 32,000 SF of commercial retail space, 25,000 SF of offices, a 160-unit luxury senior living residences, a rooftop bar and a parking garage.12|12 Aventura is designed by nationally renowned firm Arquitectonica with top-quality interior designs from IDDI Design and is slated to open in 2022.

Penn Station, a growing regional chain of restaurants specializing in fresh-grilled "East Coast Style” subs, fresh-cut fries, and fresh-squeezed lemonade is working with Katz & Associates to expand from eight locations to 25-to-30 restaurants within the next five years, and Katz Director Holly Buchanan, CCIM, is already executing the strategy to four new deals in 2020. Buchanan helped broker deals for locations in Madison, Dickson, Tullahoma, and Shelbyville (each approx.1,400-1,600 SF), all signed this summer, and slated to open at end of 2020 and early 2021.
