Vanesa Rodriguez joined Katz & Associates in 2016, establishing the Central Florida office based in Orlando. With over 10 years of real estate experience, her focus is on leasing new and existing properties, tenant representation and retailer expansions, in addition to outparcel sales and ground leasing. Vanesa handles third party leasing for landlords including QIC, Pan American, LBX, and VEREIT throughout Central Florida, as well as expansions for retailers such as Foot Locker and Pet Supermarket.
Prior to joining Katz, Vanesa served as Director of Leasing at Cursor Commercial where she focused predominately on landlord work. She handled leasing and renewals for shopping centers, including new developments, mixed-use projects, and single-tenant buildings. Vanesa began her Real Estate career in 2009 with Coldwell Banker. There she specialized in residential sales and REO portfolio management, offering a great advantage in knowing and understanding the market from both a residential and commercial perspective. Vanesa has achieved such awards as the International Diamond & Sterling Society which represents the top 1.9% of agents nationwide.
Vanesa transitioned to commercial real estate in 2013. She has sat as Director on the CCIM Board, Central Florida Chapter and is a member of ICSC. She has successfully negotiated and closed over $50 million in transactions. Vanesa graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She has been a resident of Florida for nearly 25 years and is fluent in Spanish.
