Principal
Jonathan Cashion serves as Principal at Katz & Associates with over 18 years of Commercial Real Estate experience. Jonathan represents both national and regional retailers with their expansion goals throughout the State of Florida. In addition, Jonathan represents many owners and developers in the leasing and sales of a wide variety of assets throughout Florida. Jonathan’s background encompasses the leasing and selling of new, existing, redevelopment, and mixed-use assets.
Jonathan has successfully negotiated and closed over 750 retail lease and sales transactions encompassing a value in excess of over $850 million. He currently handles the third-party leasing for over 2 million square feet of space throughout the State of Florida, representing several institutional owners such as National Retail Properties, Realty Income, KPR, RPT, InvenTrust, Agree, Fuqua, Hampshire, and many others. Jonathan leads the expansion goals for National retailers: Floor & Décor, Aspen Dental, BurgerFi, Gordon Food Stores, Party City, and many others. His expertise and extensive Florida retail market knowledge give him the competitive advantage to better assist a client over most other Florida brokers.
Jonathan has been a resident of Florida for over 35 years and has had a lifelong passion for real estate. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with course work in Real Estate from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton in 2004. He has been nominated as a Costar Power Broker for 14 years in a row and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
