Jennifer Houston has joined the Katz Florida team with 18 years of Retail Leasing experience in Florida. She has a vast resume of working with some of the best retail and restaurant tenants, and leasing urban core retail, mixed-use and grocery anchored centers.
Recently, Jennifer spent time leasing in Wynwood, Miami’s MIMO District, West Palm Beach and Tampa-St. Petersburg working with high end restaurants and entertainment concepts from all over the world. Prior to that she spent a decade at Edens as the Director of Leasing for the state of Florida where she focused on merchandising and leasing for all Florida assets. During her time at Edens, Jennifer was the top producer in the country for two years in a row and managed many redevelopments in South Florida, including River Market in Fort Lauderdale, which boasts a tenant lineup of Whole Foods, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Lululemon, Pottery Barn, Sephora, Shake Shack, Drybar, BoConcept and LoveSac. Jennifer started her career at Woolbright Development in Boca Raton, Florida.
Jennifer was born in Glendale, AZ, raised in Long Island, New York, and eventually moved to Boca Raton, Florida. She studied Finance and Accounting at Florida Atlantic University. Early in her career, she worked in sales as a representative for a boutique copier company and in the pharmaceutical industry. She is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Florida, and an active member of ICSC, serving on several committees. She is also a board member for the Florida Retail Scholarships organization and a team Captain for the annual Palm Beach County Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build event. Jennifer resides in South Florida with her husband and two sons.
