Denise Leyendecker

Denise is a seasoned commercial real estate broker with over 30 years of experience in the Florida real estate market. Throughout her career in real estate, she has established strong relationships with national and regional landlords, brokers, and tenants.
Prior to Joining Katz, Denise was Vice President of Leasing and Sales at Fimiani Development where she focused on national and regional tenant and landlord representation. Before that, she was Director of Leasing with Terranova Corporation and spent some time at Stiles Realty where she was nominated CoStar Power Broker of the Year.
Denise was responsible for the leasing and marketing a portfolio of over 800,000 square feet in Palm Beach and Broward County to some of the most recognized national retail and restaurant companies such as; Costco, Target, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Best Buy, Michaels, Rooms to Go, Outback, Carrabba’s, Starbucks, Panera Bread, Chipotle, Arby’s, Golden Corral, Bank Atlantic, and Citibank.
In addition, Denise was instrumental in the land sale and leasing of a 350,000-square-foot power center and was 95% leased at the completion of construction.
Denise is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and moved to Florida over 40 years ago; she currently resides in Wellington, Florida. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. Denise was a volunteer with the Florida Guardian Ad Litem Office and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
