Daniel Solomon serves as Principal at Katz & Associates; he has been with the firm for 15 years and started as an intern while pursuing his Master’s in Real Estate. Daniel works with national and regional retailers to meet and exceed their real estate goals throughout Florida. Daniel also represents many national and regional real estate owners and developers in a third-party leasing capacity, as well as buyers and sellers of retail properties throughout Florida. He is experienced in ground-up development including mixed-use projects. Daniel has completed lease transactions with retailers including Walmart, Academy Sports, Ross, Publix, Marshalls, 24 Hour Fitness, Conn’s, Pet Supermarket, Dollar General, WSS, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Sonic, Chick-fil-A, Crunch Fitness, Dollar Tree, Aldi, First Watch, Burger Fi, Urban Air Adventure Park, Racetrac, Wawa, Taco Bell, KFC, Skechers, Sugar Factory, PF Chang’s, and Twin Peaks. In 2016, Daniel represented the developer on the ground lease of the first TopGolf in South Florida (Miami Gardens). In 2017, Daniel sold the TopGolf ground lease property on behalf of the seller. He, along with David Emihovich, exclusively represents Walmart throughout most of Florida. Daniel has experience representing institutional owners in agency leasing with clients such as: Realty Income, Kimco, National Retail Properties, KPR, RPT, Brixmor, Longpoint, Alto, Greystar, Hampshire, InvenTrust, and Agree.
In addition to being a CCIM, Daniel has a master’s degree in Real Estate (MSRE) from the University of Florida. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the University of Miami (FL). Daniel was born in and is a lifelong resident of Florida.
