Brian Katz serves as Chief Executive Officer at Katz & Associates. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the company, in addition to strategic planning and execution for his clients’ real estate expansions and dispositions. Brian has completed deals in NY, NJ, CT, PA, DE, MD, VA, DC and FL valued in excess of $3 billion. He has led market entry assignments and strategy plans across multiple states and MSAs that have resulted in long-term execution programs. Brian’s transaction history includes numerous suburban and downtown lease and sale deals for several National chains including Floor & Decor, Ross Dress for Less, Ulta Cosmetics, Hobby Lobby, DSW Shoes, Saks OFF 5TH, World Market, Party City and Retro Fitness. He has extensive expertise and knowledge of the retail landscape throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Prior to joining Katz in 2000, Brian held the position of Project Manager at Forest City Ratner. He participated in the development of 2.1 million square feet of retail space throughout New York City as well as in the management of 1 million square feet of operating properties.
