Englewood, NJ, March 29, 2023 – Academy Sports + Outdoors’ first South Florida location is coming to the Shoppes at St. Lucie West in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The popular sporting goods retailer has signed a 15-year-lease for a new store to be built (63,000 square feet) slated to open in Q4 2023.

Katz & Associates’ Jon Cashion and Daniel Solomon, CCIM, represented the landlord, Hampshire Companies and Redfearn Capital, and Strategic Retail Advisors’ Brandon Nocella and Mercedes Loftus represented the tenant. Academy Sports + Outdoors will be joining a terrific lineup of retailers at the center including Publix, Five Below, and Bealls (all of which Cashion and Solomon represented the landlord in the leases), as well as Burlington, LA Fitness, and more.
