Englewood, NJ, August 1, 2024 – Brian Katz, CEO of Katz & Associates, is pleased to announce that Karen Maerovitz is rejoining Katz & Associates. Maerovitz is a Senior Director in Katz’s Boca Raton, Florida office. She’ll work on tenant and landlord representation, and new business development throughout South Florida.
As a South Florida native, Maerovitz is knowledgeable about all Florida markets, primarily Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. She has represented tenants including: LEAP, Great Clips, Vitamin Shoppe, Jackson Hewitt, Marco’s Pizza, Morelia Gourmet Paletas, Carrot Express, Xponential Fitness, Advanced America, Amazing Lash Studio, Deka Lash, and Gamestop. Maerovitz has represented landlords including: Starwood, Arena Capital, BlackRock, Gables Urban, Konover South, Morgan Stanley, Rialto Capital, Summit Realty Leasing & Management Corp, Terranova Corporation, Rilea Group, and 13 Floor.
Karen Maerovitz rejoins Katz where she had been for four years (2018-2022). Karen Maerovitz is an expert at planning and hosting professional networking events. She launched Brokers Who Zoom in 2020 at the height of Covid when attending in-person networking events wasn’t possible. She was recently honored among South Florida Women Leading Real Estate by Bisnow.
Karen holds a Marketing Degree from The University of Miami. She is a member of ICSC and has held several ICSC leadership positions for over 11 years. Karen has a young daughter and is a huge fan of Wonder Woman.
