Englewood, NJ, February 14, 2023 – Brian Katz, CEO of Katz & Associates, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Houston will be joining Katz & Associates. Jennifer joins as Senior Director in Katz’s Boca Raton office. She will work on tenant and landlord representation.
Jennifer Houston comes to Katz with 18 years of retail leasing experience in Florida. She has worked with some of the top retail and restaurant tenants, and has leased urban core retail, mixed-use, and grocery-anchored centers.
Most recently, Jennifer was at Tricera Capital where she spent time leasing in Wynwood, Miami’s MIMO District, West Palm Beach, and Tampa-St. Petersburg working with high-end restaurants and entertainment concepts from all of the world. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at Edens as the Director of Leasing for the state of Florida, where she focused on merchandising and leasing for all Florida assets. During her time at Edens, Jennifer was the top producer in the country for two years in a row and managed many redevelopments in South Florida, including River Market in Fort Lauderdale which boasts a tenant lineup of: Whole Foods, Dick’s Sports Goods, Luluemon, Pottery Barn, Sephora, Shake Shack, Drybar, BoConcept, and LoveSac. Jennifer started her career at Woolbright Development in Boca Raton, Florida.
Jennifer shares her favorite part of commercial real estate is merchandising. She said, “I love helping create places that benefit the community; places where people will want to spend time, shop, and eat.”
Jennifer Houston is a licensed real estate salesperson in the star of Florida and an active member of ICSC, serving on several committees. She is also a board member for the Florida Retail Scholarships organization and a team captain for the annual Palm Beach County Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build event. Jennifer studied Finance and Accounting at Florida Atlantic University. Jennifer resides in South Florida with her husband and two sons.
