Harlem Shake, an iconic casual spot for burgers, shakes, and more in the heart of Harlem, New York, is expanding through a franchise deal for a second location to open in Brooklyn, New York. Katz & Associates’ David Yablon represented Harlem Shake through RESOLUT RE’s Sherry Naquin Sanchez and Spencer Bowman in the transaction. The new 1,200 square-foot restaurant (with another 1,200 square feet in basement) will be located at 119 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, and will feature the same modern, dinerlike setting with retro Harlem photos.
Harlem Shake, known for serving burgers, shakes, and good times, the Harlem way, will bring the same fun and tasty cuisine and drinks, and lively vibe to its new Brooklyn location. The fast-casual restaurant, beloved by celebrities, families, and beyond is known for collaborating with community businesses and supporting local non-profit organizations. Harlem Shake also has an annual Miss (or Mister) Harlem Shake contest each year where the winner gets to pick a Harlem non-profit organization to receive $500 on their behalf.
