Englewood, NJ, May 6, 2024 – Chick-fil-A is breaking ground this week for a new restaurant in Cutler Bay, Florida. Chick-fil-A’s Dustin Griffiths and Katz’s David Emihovich represented Chick-fil-A in the lease along with owner/developer Michael Berkowitz of Berkowitz Development Group and Landsea Development Group’s Douglas Landsea. This is the third Chick-fil-A deal Michael Berkowitz and David Emihovich have completed in Miami-Dade County, including two previous (Aventura and West Kendall).

Located in the greater Miami MSA, the new Cutler Bay location (4,800 square feet; 18240 S. Dixie Highway, Miami, FL) is part of Chick-fil-A’s expansion in the market. The Cutler Bay Chick-fil-A (formerly a Burger King) is one of four new Chick-fil-A restaurants anticipated to break ground in the area this year; other locations include: Miami Shores, Pinecrest, and Princeton.
