In 2018, Katz was tasked with leasing the former 30,000 SF Bob’s Furniture in Rockland County. The freestanding building was highly visible in a mature trade area where the majority of the active big box tenants already had a presence. Auto or medical users were the logical, highest and best use candidates for the building rather than a non-credit entertainment concept. After an alternative marketing campaign, Katz secured a long-term lease with Volkswagen for the entire property.
